THE RIGHT REASONS TO EXERCISE CAN REDUCE THE RISK OF DEMENTIA:
We don't need to tell you the benefits of exercise to your friends your neighbour your trainer. Your favourite celebrity or influencer will tell you that moderate activity in a week can work wonders for your body and mind but increasingly scientists are pouring resources into finding a link between exercise and cognitive health can physical activity reduces the risk of dementia in the good life. Today we will tell you why you should work out not just for weight loss but for a fuller healthier life. Never miss a Monday workout that is strong enough to give courage and energy to your body to show up for yourself. The fitness industry has plenty of motivational jargon to keep us moving at times motivation comes from a dramatic transformation. We enrol ourselves into a new fitness program to get fit for a special occasion like a birthday or a wedding or for that summer euro trip. More often not always fitness is directly proportional to weight loss and vice versa. Social media tells us to work out for that perfect beach body or worse than revenge body but there's a better and far more important reasons to stay active such as better memory better cognitive health and even better mental health. A recent study has found that regular stretching in balance along with some aerobic exercise can slow the progression of mild cognitive. A modest amount of exercise anywhere between 120 to 150 minutes for 12 months was found to slow cognitive decline among sedentary older adults with mild cognitive impairment or signs of early-stage dementia. Not just exercising a balanced diet also goes a long way in promoting good memory and fighting dementia as you age. Another study advises that eating more natural unprocessed food along with moderate activity can lower the risk of dementia. There are social elements present here too meeting with family and friends and working out in groups can aid in better memory and cognitive health. Research suggests that those who engage in frequent exercise have a 35 per cent lower risk of developing dementia. Exercise can also boost your thinking skills. A Harvard study finds that physical activity encourages the production of growth factors and chemicals which affect the growth of new blood vessels in the brain and this helps with good memory so why should you exercise to preserve muscle strength, to keep your heart strong, to maintain a healthy body, fight chronic diseases such as diabetes. All of the above activity patterns can boost your memory and even reduce the risk of dementia so we'll also quote a cliche and say never miss a Monday workout because it is better for our mental and physical health. We should avoid eating fast food also cause it triggers anger, hormonal imbalance and other health issues.
